Out of 38 eggs set 3 weeks ago, 29 went into lockdown -- 2 Maran, 3 Barnevelder, 6 EE, 5 Silkie, 13 Serama.


Out of 29 eggs, TWENTY-FOUR hatched !!!!!!


1 Maran (the other had stopped developing soon after it was candled on day 14)
3 Barnevelder (all hatched!!)
4 Silkie (1 died suddenly mid zip)
4 EE (2 were developed but never pipped and showed no movement when candled)
12 Serama (1 developed but never pipped and showed no movement when candled) WOW! That's a lot of tiny Seramas!!

I keep hearing seramas are so hard to hatch...you made it seem so easy. I guess I'll have to try it sometime! Maybe its the perfect WA air...i'm from Vancouver, but living on the East Coast...just doesn't cut it.
