What a Christmas! I am in the hospital recovering from a burst appendix. Agh!

Anyhow poor sis who is not big on critters had to set em up in a mini coop, all by herself, and driving back and forth to take care of me, then all my animals! They plan on keeping me 5 days so pray for my birdies to be ok.

Ooh! That's an awful Christmas. Will keep my fingers crossed for you and all your critters to be well.

You birds will be fine, you just worry about you and let your sister help you, just remeber to slobber all over her for helping ya out.
Get well soon, keeping ya in my prayers here, keep us posted on your recovery

Ouch! Is this like a lump of coal? Hope you are feeling better & have a quick recovery.

Thanks all, they are playing it by ear how long I will be in hospital. Hate hospitals.

Zaz, :lol:you might get a kick out of this, sis just got home to take care of animals, has been gone day and half! Well my dog is mad! Mad mad mad
He won't come up to greet her , he isn't hungry, he is just royally torqued with us. No excuse is going off like that!!!

Those Pyrenees just take the cake! He is normally so loving! Big goof, I suppose when I get home he will mope around with what I call his "must have shot his best friend" look for 3 days!

I miss my critters!

Sorry for the misunderstanding, zaz. My sister had called me in. Hospital to tell me they were all OK.

I am basically invalid at the moment and she is telling me some are droopy and huddled so hopefully they can hang til I can recover and check on everyone or Dr as needed.

As for the dog, that critter is outstanding! He sure makes me smile. When we pulled up in the drive, he peered thru the fence and peered, thinking sis was home yet again without me. His tail wagged slower and slower, then I opened my door (not real fast right now) and he threw himself into the air with such joy when he knew it was me and raced to the back door! When he came in he stood his front legs on the chair so I could hug him without having to bend over to reach. How do dogs know that kind of thing? I never had a dog quite like him.
Love him to pieces, even more now that I was at deaths door.

On other hand, I have a newfound respect for peas that go thru med treatment. I just kept shaking my head and saying "oh those poor peacocks". I think they thought I was nuts. They pumped SO much metronadazole down me it ain't even funny. And by the way, it tasted horrid and makes you nauseous and totally depressed!!!
