LOL that's what I think every time I look into the bator window and see no pips! I'm like, "COME ON LITTLE CHICKY!!!! PIP OR HATCH ALREADY!!! PLEASE HATCH SOON!!!!! YOU'RE MAKING ME INSANE!!!!"
Okay, you've got a cheering team here in CA also! I can't wait.... thought for sure it would be today. My little chicks are 4 days old today. They hatched under mom so I didn't get to see them hatch but the interaction with mom if sure fun to watch. I got panicky also and candled on day 20 and all I could see was dark in the eggs, no sound, so I even went in and got my stethoscope and listened and still nothing. Everyone said "don't mess with the eggs!, so I stopped and yah...next day I had baby chicks! Hand in there, keep us informed! Sharon
You are being really patient! I would be having a lot of trouble keeping my hands off that egg. It better pip tonight or I am going to go crazy too!!!!

Come on chickie, get busy pippin'!

LOL If you're are starting to go crazy, and you aren't the one hatching the egg, then you can't imagine how crazy i am!!!!!
The egg just wiggles now. No pips!
What is that chick doing in there?? Probably taking his time and pigging out on all the yolk before hatching time!
Or he's just picking up the mess from all the dancing parties he's had during that time when he could wiggle around in his egg, like around day 17!
Oh well, might as well not rush him/her. I would rather have a nice, clean and slow hatch than a rushed, messed up and fatal hatch.
Temp. is now 101* F. and hum. is 70-75%.
P.S. NOTE TO CHICKY IN THE EGG---
Please hurry up before me, needmorechickens, and other people started going insane!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm cheering for you, too. I couldn't wait to get home from work so I could log on and see if the eggie hatched yet. I was sure you'd have a chickie by now!!!
