Every 3 years we restring the yard so our chickens are safe from owls and hawks! Our chickens are stress free and don’t even run when a shadow is flying above them . We have never lost a chicken since 2011 since when we have put this up. And the cost is minimal. It takes us 2 days using 2 ladders and walking back and forth creating a spiderweb type figure above. Best when using fishing line and colored, as hawks see colors and a clear fishing line works but they see it from farther above.
