I don't have a rooster, but a neighbor's rooster is visiting. He can't get in the coop, but I am worried he could stress the chickens and cause reduced egg production.

If he cant get in, he's unlikely to stress your girls, and if he cant come into contact he probably wont bring diseases. But if yiu are worried, you could talk to your neighbor.

PLEASE no. I'd be absolutely horrified if MY neighbour kidnapped and slaughtered by rooster when he did NOTHING except look at their girls.

While it ought not to be the first option, it's hardly "kidnapping" to kill a nuisance animal that is trespassing on your property.

It is 100% the responsibility of the rooster's owner to keep it on his/her own property.

I would use the following strategy.I would actually place a bowl of clean medicated water preferably some full spectrum antibiotic and give him some feed with D.E. if he'sgoing to continue to visit you might as well play it safe and make sure that whatever he's bringing with him you have a solution for. That's just me.

The "Soup" thing was a joke, people. Ever tried to eat a mature Roo. You might better make soup from a few stones. They would be a little more tender.

Don't worry about him if he's not really causing any issues. If he gets to be a nuisance, talk to the neighbor, until then just enjoy his company. I always enjoy just watching my birds.

No.
WillyNilly antibiotics is not a good idea, especially giving them to someone else's bird.
DE won't do squat.
Feeding the bird will only increase his presence.
