I want to get another chicken. Just 1 or 2. I am thinking of a polish frizzle...if that is what this is in this picture I found on the internet.

Earlier on a post I was told you could do like 1 of these bantams with silkies. So I figure I would get 1 or 2, my questions are...

1. Is that polish frizzle?
2. No chicken fights will break out with all bantam hens?
3. Does anyone know of any breeders in Fl where I can get these?

that is a polish frizzle buff laced frizzle I have some young ones I will have eggs for sale in spring And they should be put in different cages because they will usally be picked on by the others I don't know of any breeders in florida the only breeders I know are farther from you then I am

Oh, so my silkies would pick on them then? I cant do another cage, so If they dont get along that wont work out, but I REALLY want one. Where are you located? And do you hatch chicks? or send more mature chickens?

That's a frizzle but any chicken will fight when first introduced to strangers, even bantams, it's how they establish a pecking order. Take care to separate the new guys with a chicken wire divider for a week so that everyone can see each other and get used to each other and work out most of their differences without anyone getting hurt, and if you get chicks, keep them away from the older ones until they are 5 or 6 weeks old and can hold their own a little bit.

what I mean is if you get some frizzle you will get 25% smooth and smooth polish can't see as well as the others you should trim around the crest yet still don't put together
