A new experience

My Family and are currently waiting for our new baby chicks to hatch. One of many new experiences that we've had the past year or so. Watching Super Willie sitting on her eggs and turning them is quite a sight to see . especially since this is new for her too.

I'm so happy for you!!!

My Maxine just hatched out two chicks (and is setting more). Her (and my) first! It is definitely an amazing experience!!!

It's very crazy how they know how to do all this instinctually. I love watching a hen with her chicks. It's beautiful!

Hold a hatching egg..... Now THAT is a new experience! haha I did for the first time about a week ago

EDIT: But don't take away from Mama's experience too. This was an incubated egg, so there was no mama to do that for it

yeah i tried incubating the last batch. sadly they didn't do well at all. glad this appears to work out. nice to see the change in my hen.

so. no chicks yet. I miscalculated big time. I thought it was 21 days from the first egg.
