A new Hobby Soap making Love it

I want to make my own soap as well. Don't know if I'll have the time to read through so many pages

Is there like a simplified tutorial somewhere? I know everyone does things differently and has their own little tricks and hints, but surely the "meat" of the process is the same.

Teachsoap.com has good tutorial or YouTube soap making and there's good videos there. Also muellers farm site. Go to soap makers reference thread here on byc and lots more references

I was afraid to try and look it up myself and go by just any recipe. You know how that usually turns out

You never get what you think you will. Learned that with a lot of food recipies. Especially homemade sugar cookies...YUCK, LOL

BuffBeauty Soap looks awesome!!! I have an order on its way from Morgaine so we will see very shortly if homemade soap is for me or If DH was right and its not my thing!! I am thinking I am going to like it so i will be joining the soapmaking queens of BYC shortly!!!
