A New Life ~RP~

Lark, drawn by the commotion outside, slowly slinked out of her room, and to the horse pasture.

Suddenly, Apache backed up, and began to gallop towards the fence. Tucking his front legs neatly to his chest, he soared over the fence and landed by Sammy Joe.

Sammy Joe looked up startled then smiled. "Hey there pretty boy."

Vanessa eyed all the people wo had come over. Sighing she walked away from the horse pasture. After walking aways away she heard a faint mewing. Looking around she saw a small dip in the ground. Vanessa kneeled down by the dip and inside were two very young kittens with bobbed tails. Vanessa was puzzled. The kittens were very young and barely had their eyes and ears opening. There was no mothee cat around so she carefully picked up each tiny kitten and walked over to the pasture. "Anyone missing to bob-tailed kittens?" She called.

Diana looked over and shook her head "No"

Lark eyed an attractive buckskin stallion as she stood a ways away from the crowd, shivering in her combat boots. I wonder if it's still possible to travel the world on a horse.

Then it hit her. ALASKA!

Lark looked around frantically, for anyone who could stop her. Relieved that she didn't see James or Hillary, the girl released her hand from her dark auburn braid, swiftly swung herself over the fence, and sprinted for Rebel.

You don't know how to ride! she inwardly screamed.

Whatever, the other part of her said.

Could horses jump? From what Lark could remember, yes, they could.

In her mindless sprint, automatically when she reached Rebel, she grabbed his mane and pulled herself up.

Rebel snorted throwing his head backing up.
