A new Mother Hen

My family & I purchased 6 chicks a week ago. 3 black sex linked & 3 buff orthingtons.
I am in love. They are recognizing our voices and chirping back when I make certain noises. I fed them their feed mixed with a little water...they went nuts. Tonight I gave them a mealworm salad as a treat. So cute to watch them find a worm & run to hide and eat it. Starting to see personalities.

Oh...from Terre Haute, Indiana. Just excited!

Thank y'all! Just this morning, the chicks kept eyeing me and finally I put some mealworms in my hand & they chowed down. Of course they wanted more. Guess I better invest in some dried mealworms. First time they ate from my hand.
But...they aren't spoiled. I swear. My little girl says they are the best thing ever. Lol
