Sorry Shellie...It took me awhile to get pregnant with my first child so I know how frustrating it can be when it seems everyone around you isn't having any issues. My DIL works in a fertility clinic. Fortunately/unfortunately for her she gets pregnant very easily. She has dealt with some very upset patients while she's pregnant. She understands that they aren't really lashing out at her personally, that it's just their frustrations with their own situation.

I hope you can soon be adding to the baby posts.

if certain posts are offensive, and they see no point in locking/deleting the whole thread because everyone else is getting along. They'll either edit the post or delete it

Apparently. Me also wonders what happened to freedome of speech. I understand this is a family site and that certain standards need to upheld to protect the youth that are here, but the post I made yesterday that was deleted said nothing offensive. Someone on the thread asked that if their dog killed a protected animal if they would get in trouble for it and I simply said something to affect of "Who would go and call a game warden and announce that their dog killed a protected animal" and it's now gone but someone on the thread mentions my statement so I know it was there.
I have seen worse than that on this site.

Now, that being said I'm also a moderator on several other forums (a couple LARGE ones) and I own my own internet groups, etc. I know it's a tough job and it's impossible to make everyone happy. I think we're going to be seeing alot more of it as membership grows and more Mods are needed to keep up. Every Mod has their own style and preferences. A very good friend of mine in real life is also a Mod on one of the same groups I am, and I am alot more apt to delete posts with innapropriate language than she is and she's more prone to bust people posting X rated or religious stuff than I am.

Alot of them are special interest forums like this, nothing "exciting" if you catch my drift. One is a dog forum for people with service dogs, one is a religious group, but anyone can get frisky and carried away and post things that aren't nessesarily AWFUL but just borderline not good.
