Sky was lost in thought, and only heard them talking from a distance. She stared at her gym shoes intently

Bryce piped up, "Could 'Them' be the Superiors?"

"That was my first thought." Kyle said then glanced to Kira before looking back around the group of teens "Is anyone else noticing how...odd the adults are acting since they started getting those shots?"
Kira reached to grab his arm, unsure about him just asking the others like that. She looked out over the group then back to Kyle, staying silent.

Maddie nodded. "Yeah, definitely. Just earlier today, I kicked a rock at one of them. It cut their leg and they didn't even look up."
