Skye ran down the steps, making her way to the streets that would lead to her house

Luna walked slowly down the steps well after everyone else had left. She looked wistfully up at the sky, why did it have to look so blue and happy? She stepped onto the foot path, and started wandering over to a small park, taking her time. She had already decided that she wouldn't be going home today. She'd had enough

Maddie was walking down the street, kicking rocks in boredom. She was trying to delay her getting home and seeing her parents, who were acting very strange lately; it was uncomfortable to be around them. One large rock flew from her foot and slammed into an adult nearby. The person just kept walking like nothing had happened. That's pretty strange... she thought.

Bryce sat on a bench in the park, reading. It was a long novel, but somehow he was already close to finishing it, even though he had just started it the night before. I guess that's what happens when you're a bibliophile, he thought with mild amusement.

(XD I just realized that too! He and Maya could be cousins or something... )

Maya ignored Sam and acted like she was hypnotized. She just sat there and stared at the water. Sam was quiet, also; thinking about the letter, the serum their parents had to be injected with, and the stupid class they attended 3 days a week. The two friends sat on the brown bench staring out at the water trying to figure out how it all connected.

Wes' parents got home about an hour after he did. "Hey. What's for dinner?" He asked. There wasn't a response. Just a bunch of shuffling around and quiet moaning. He looked back at the kitchen from the couch and saw his mother getting out a frying pan to brown some meat and his father filling up a pot with water for noodles. Wes shrugged and turned back to his show.

Samir left the school and went to the book store. He browsed over the fiction section and selected a few on serums. He walked to the cashier and put 3 books on the counter. Serums 101, Serums, Drugs, and Other Medicines, and Potions and Pills were the titles of the books he picked out. The man at the cash registrar scanned the books with a black look on his face. He said nothing but Samir saw the price on the small screen. "$48.79 it is.." Samir handed him a 50 dollar bill and said. "Keep the change." He walked to his house slowly; looking through the books.

Skye kicked an empty can that was lying on the side of the road as she walked there, not caring if she was on the foot path or not. The breeze blew part of her brown hair into her face, and she pulled it away

Luna folded her arms and looked at the ground as she walked. She went past a few shops, most of them closed, then saw the park up ahead

Samir kept flipping through Serums 101. He found some very interesting things in it so far. He looked up every so often to make sure he wasn't running into anybody or thing.

Samir sighed and closed the book. He carried them at his side as he wandered down the street. He passed many people who were injected and acted like zombies. Samir stopped at the crosswalk and waited for the light to turn red. After a few minutes, it went red and he walked across.

Wes got up off the couch and decided to walk around town. He stepped out the door and started Main Street.

Hannah walked down the street to the supermarket. She bought some peaches and went out. She got one out and felt its fuzzy, orange skin. She took a bite.
