Welcome, from Baton Rouge. We were looking at homes in the McComb area at one time & were wondering if the town allowed chickens, etc.

I've done a few online searches and haven't been able to find any statutes or ordinances that permit or outlaw them. The thought of outlaw chickens makes me laugh though.

I haven't heard if any ordinances. Actually, I know several ppl that have em so I never thought that I couldn't have them. It's probably more about neighbors complaining than anything else. If the numbers are low and the smell isn't bad, I can't really see anyone complaining.
