HI! Thanks for the info. I will definitely upload pictures to find out more about my little ladies...and hopefully just 2 roosters. :)
 
Most people use the course sand that has some little pebbles in it, sometimes called builders sand or something like that (not the fine white childrens playsand or sugar sand)... if you need a lot you can get it from most gravel companies, just make sure it is washed sand.
