I wold appreciate if you could have a look at my silkies and let me know what gender you think they might be. You were right last time.. my Snowflake turn out to be a hen.
The gray chick is called Coffee and is 13 weeks old. The white one is called Splash and is 14 weeks old.
Thank you for your help.

I forgot to mention that they never fight. I used to have other chicks who would constantly fight. Coffee and Splash never fight and if I separate them for a couple of minutes, Coffee will start calling and Splash will reply. I used to believe that Coffee is a roo and Splash a pullet as he has a bigger body and a deeper voice, but no I am not sure anymore, as I think I can notice streamers on Splash’s neck and head...

The blue looks to have an extra fluffy head, which makes streamer growth slower then the ones who have not so fluffy heads. I own silkies, & noticed this. Fighting won't happen until around 5-6 months of age. Mainly pecking order stuff.

Chest bumping and fighting really doesn’t determine gender as pecking order applies to both sexes. With only 2 you probably won’t see much sparing for hierarchy in the flock. Really the only temperament differences I noticed with my silkies is the young cockerel are usually more friendly and approach me, my young pullets usually are stand offish until point of lay. But each bird is individual so even this is not a good determination of genders.
After 3 years of raising silkies I have learned patience is a virtue.

Hi everyone. My chicks are 22 and 23 weeks old. No crowing yet and no eggs🙈. The waiting is killing me. This is how they look like now...
