Meet Bunny Foo Foo,,, Steven literally stopped traffic to save this tiny little cotton tail baby that was trying to keep warm on the pavement,, in the middle of the road. He said at least 3 cars in front of him went over it,, luckily it was between the wheels and didn't try and run and get squashed. So my soft-hearted son screeched to halt, leaped out of the truck in traffic, grabbed the bunny and got back in. The local deputy (I'm sure glad they know my truck) was 3 cars behind him and turned his lights on when he saw Steven jump out of the truck. It has a slight nose bleed, but shows no damage otherwise and is perking up under the heat lamp with Screech Mouse and his new little friend Goldi Locks,, I haven't told you about Goldi Locks yet,, it's a little yellow Turken that a local lady thought was a deformed chick and was going to cull and Steven brought it home this morning,,,,

I sooooo hope the new baby makes it. It's so cute. I know that baby bunnies hard so hard to raise. Looks like it's got a good start.

I guess over the years we've raised over 100 wild babies, it just depends on the injury or age and the bunny's will to survive. He had it in his shirt the whole way home and it started perking up. We are having a super bad wind storm right now and I think it was disoriented and cold. It's eating spinach and snuggled up with the two chicks right now.
