I was able to get a picture of my 3 shepherds today. It is always a challenge when trying to get them all to look at the camera and you end up settling for laying nicely. lol My mutt and black girl do not get along, a female thing, so I won't be able to get a picture of all 4 of my pups.

They are all pure bred German Shepherd Dogs that I brought back with me from Germany.

Thank you.

I am very proud of them.

My black girl is melanistic. She has a touch of brown between her toes. But looking at her you would never know. She also has a touch of red on her back but again you can't tell unless the sun is just so during the height of summer.

They are beautiful! Question - do you have to keep the girls physically separated, or do they stay separate by choice? Do they fight, or just grumble at each other?

I can see why Mace is your pride and joy - she's breathtaking!

I love Shepherds. Here's my 18-month-old bicolor boy, Theo:

He is most definately not as well bred as yours! His "gimp" ear (as we call it) will never stand erect. That's what happens when some American breeders get their hands on them and start selecting for gargantuan ears. I acquired Theo from a neighbor who didn't have the time for him, and I don't know much about his history.

Crazy, I showed my DH the pics. Out of curiosity, how old are your GSDs?

Annarie, does he have AKC registration? If so, you can look up his pedigree at www.pedigreedatabase.com

The gimp ear doesn't bother me much. Our Jax's sire has a gimp ear as a result of an accident while playing as a pup.
