I don't see the harm in having a fan in the same room as her, if she really seems to be struggling. The chicks will stay under her if they're cold. But if she seems ok I'd leave it. She'll be able to get up soon enough.

. She is driving me nuts. Even the chicks are drinking. I was giving her some frozen blueberries but now she wants to share everything with them. I must say she seems to have the good mama gene, but I don't want her to get heat stroke. We just put a fan (not directly on) but blowing air across the coop. I hope that helps.
