I'm probably going to be glued to the chair next to my incubator for the next 12 hours. The eggs that I found in the coop after my chickens were killed have started to hatch. One pip so far even though it's day 19. The baby is even chirping. I might as well have laid the eggs myself I'm so proud. Mama was either a blue Wyandotte or a SLW & dad was a bantam mille fleur Cochin so I think it'll be a pretty, fluffy little thing. But honestly they could all look like buzzards and I wouldn't care.

I'll post photos as soon as they hatch. My family & fiance think I've lost my mind :lau

Little thing is still working on it! One of the other eggs is rocking around but no pip yet

Oh, @yickenscarf23 that's WONDERFUL news! Do please keep us posted as you are able!
:pop
Now, are you going to raise these precious pippers in the house to keep them safe? (Kidding, kinda, lol) Are your remaining two hens still doing okay?
I don't have any hens left they were all killed that day sadly. The eggs were found in the coop after it all happened. And the coop we're building is nicer than my house so they can have the house and I'll just stay outside :lau
