A Polish haircut?

Hey there! I was wondering at what age is it safe to trim a Polish's tophat so they can see? Mine are 7 weeks and they're starting to get pretty shaggy. I don't think I need to do it right yet, but knowledge never hurts! Also, how do you do it? That might be a silly question, but I've never done it! Please help old clueless out here!

Just be sure not to cut to far down. Not into the quill part. It really helps.

I don't cut the whole top hat off. I just trim the feathers that block the view.

Your welcome, just use small scissors, and be very carefull.

I seen folks use those hair spandex things to hold up their hairdos up! make sure its in the middle and not so tight like you would do for your own hair.

They might look silly with pink, green and red hair bands! Customize them too!

Well Ms. Dot gets her fro trimmed once a month. We just trim the sides and leave the big fro to fan out in the back.

We started trimming at about 2.5 monthes FYI
