My husband is pretty low-maintenance. When he's sick, he usually just sleeps in his recliner. I have to offer to get him something, he rarely asks.

is a root canal involve pain??? then hubby home, i can easily put him to bed, give him medicine, and be in the next room.

Now do you mean really home sick or call in sick? there is a difference, my wife prefers the call in sick.

That's a hard one.

Luckily, he's rarely sick. However, he's got a bunged up knee and hip, and I hear about it Every. Single. Day. Of course, I'm the one with 7 knee surgeries under my belt, with 4 of those in 7 months. Will he get it taken care of? Nope.

I almost hate to admit this but hubby never stays home sick..he sucks it up no matter how bad he is and goes to work..

I can honestly only remember him staying home 2x in 25 years. When he did...I made sure I was NOT around!

I predicted this would happen when he was moved into the elementary school as the school resource officer. Hotbed for germs and DH with a compromised immune system.

I would love it if he would stay put in either his recliner or the bed, but it's not happening.

I couldn't eat a thing....five minutes later....

What are we having for lunch?

While you're up could you bring me a coke?....five minutes later.....

I voted for the Princess, and I was honest. She would prefer a 'root canal.' I'm a pain in the --- under normal conditions. When I'm sick she says that I am a big baby.
