I think he was very curious as to what I was doing with the camera, he kept turning his head looking at me. He stayed a long time before flying away.

oh yes they are beautiful, but I think I prefer the pics rather than being right there with them. Even though I know I can take them, I don't like the idea of those claws grabbing onto me. They just stare at me and don't even mind if I need to pass right under them......uuugggg!!! Twice I had an owl dive for my windshield going over 50 mph on a wooded road I need to pass to get to work. Kind of thing that can give you nightmares.

I don't free range any of my chickens so they are very safe. Kind of worry about my little Yorkie though.
