Strawberry! The local farms just set up their stands on Friday and this year's berries are just gorgeous!

My favorite! We haven't had any good strawberries here yet. My daughter said she found good ones out by her place but when she went back they were all gone

In August I'll make the 2.5 hour trek to Eastern Washington (desert like climate but lots of irrigation thanks to the Columbia river) to get peaches and put those up for winter. Mmm....peach crisp

June is peach season here. We are supposed to go up near my moms place the weekend after next to pick some with her. Super excited for that, we got some teally good ones last year. Only about an hour away for us though. What else do you can?

June is peach season here. We are supposed to go up near my moms place the weekend after next to pick some with her. Super excited for that, we got some teally good ones last year. Only about an hour away for us though. What else do you can?

What a wonderful way to remember spending time with your mom! It's definitely a skill that needs to be passed on more than it has been.
