A pterodactyl Orpington and one with no butt?! UPDATE!!

She's the same age as the he-she, they hatched on 27th November.

I think I might enter him and one of the pullets in the county fair, if I can lift him! He's over 18" tall, and as wide LOL The magic 'bator is even more magical than I previously thought (well there are three of them now!). They hatch 1 rooster and the rest pullets, and one hatched 11 out of 12 duck eggs after an 8 hour power outage

You'd have to have some strong hens to bear that weight.
 
How did I miss this thread...He is so Handsome...I was going to say as I read over the posting it was a rooster...I have a Black Orp that did the same thing for me growing out...huge fellow...
 
Yes they are absolutely enormous. Even my husband (who hardly ever goes to look at my chickens, and knows little about them!) asked me what on earth he was. That is a pallet stood up vertically in the background, to help with the scale!
 
Ooooooo now I am going to have an incubator, I'm going to have to try Blue/Black/Splash Orps... fun! That rooster is absolutely gorgeous, Cara.
