Just another Saturday morning, just another quail alarm call from the garage. Went out to check, everybody seemed fine, then it happened again and then again, but still nothing. Finally popped out to put some calcium in the feeder and found my problem. I had a rogue quail who wanted back in the pen! Caught the silly thing and tossed her back in, made a beeline for the water, must have gotten out a few days ago when I was moving birds. She’s doing fine but hopefully learned not to sneak out!
