I have just a little bit of dirt on a few of the eggs - do I use just plain water to spot clean or disinfectant in the water?

If its dirt its fine to go in the bator

I have put eggs in with poo on it

I would remove anything that can be rubbed off, I would not wash anything off because eggs are porous.
