A Question (or two) About Alerts

Hi! First, Admins, you're doing a GREAT job and I love you and obviously love BYC. Two things you could help me with:

1. When I'm going through my Alerts, I notice that some of them, not all, have tiny little yellow "sunshine" looking icons in them. They don't always go away after I click on them. What are they and why are they there?

2. Sometimes I have LOTS of alerts, especially on Sundays because I'm usually not here on Saturdays. I mean like, more than 10! But after I look at the first few, they all change from yellow to white! Then I lose track of which ones I've looked at. Yeah, memory issues, sigh. So ... could you fix it so they stay yellow until AFTER I click on them? That would be waaay awesome! See, I thought at first that's what the little sunshiny things were... but it seems not..... right?

My alerts appear in my in box with a line in front of them. it stays until I click on the alert or post. but I think it is a matter of what provider I am using.

They are recent alerts.

I'm not sure if that is possible, but the little yellow star icon will tell you what alerts are recent.

Ah. Thanks. I'm just referring to the alerts I see when I come to the site on my android phone. I don't use the BYC app, so maybe that's a factor.

They are recent alerts.

I'm not sure if that is possible, but the little yellow star icon will tell you what alerts are recent.
