A question regarding broody hens.

After a hen has stopped laying because of age, will she still want to brood?

Mine aren't even laying yet, but I'm curious!

Some lay til a ripe old age but when they are done, so is their brooding days in my experience.

That's interesting to know, now I just have to wait till they lay in the first place I guess.
