a rooster that thinks hes a hen!!!!

i have two nesting boxes side by side and i have 1 hen setting on two eggs and during the day you can go out there and see my rooster setting in the second nesting box like hes laying an egg. he peaks his head around at the hen and immitates what shes doing. its really funny

He's probably "talking" to her while she's laying. My EE roo digs the nests for the girls and purrs to them while they're laying.

My roo sometimes hops in a nest box and coos to the girls. It is hilarious (cause he barely fits, he's so big) and sweet!!

I have a rooster that's in touch with his feminine side as well. But, he's all man when it comes to defending his girls - he's the BEST kinda rooster to have!
