A sleeping baby goose

Quote:
LOL....... I don't think water fowl sleep at night. I can go out on my deck and hear the ducks at any hour of the night. When I go out in the morning my baby geese are trying to break the door down just to get to the grass. The chicks just hang back and wait as the geese practically fall out of the door. It must be torture for my little ones to see the grass and not get to it...... lmao! They are getting so big and fast. The baby chicks still jump on the baby geese' backs. Funny to see. I can't get close enough to get a picture of it.

What sleep?

My goslings never sleep!
They spent the entire night trying to get the pictures to come out of the newspaper!
I literally had to turn off the darn brooder lamp to get them to settle! lol

But at 2am again I hear...

***riiiiiiiiiipppp***
**SQUEAK!**
***riiiiiiiiiiiipppp***

Ha! and I thought my geese were weirdos---the way they try to rip up anything they can reach: some packing tape on a carboard box...the cardboard box, the specks on the cardboard, the edges on the waterer... They do love weeds though! Its all they want! Speaking of which, time to herd them into my weed patch now that its not shady over there anymore.

I'm sure your goose is fine, enjoy the peeping.

Oh my goodness!

Balbinka has stared snoring too! It sounds like there is a little bike horn or trumpet inside her nose!

OMG, that is just too funny. I think I'm going to call my sebbies Fred and Ginger because when they get there feathers they will look as elegant as Fred and Ginger dance. Anyway, Fred seems to have a squeaky toy up his nose........ LOL! Just one Squeak....... not the double squeak like the toy... haha. It's a delicate high pitch sound. I am very happy to know that others have snoring geese as well. I'm glad it's not the trumpet sound....... hahahaha. That is hysterical.
