I have a 10 wk old araucana rooster that I think has a slipped tendon on his right leg. I'm not really sure how you can tell, but I do know that it is not broken. He walks and runs fine, but where his leg meets his feathers, it goes outward to the side. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but I need to sell about 12 roosters, and he is one of them. I don't want to sell him if he has a gimpy leg. I'm going to keep another one and I will keep him if I have to, but I will have 4 roosters for about 21 hens. Does anyone know how to fix a slipped tendon, or is this what it is? Sorry I don't have a pic. But the joint (elbow?) just juts out about 3/4 inches.
