A tale of a funny tail

Over the winter my hen, Phoenix, moulted quite a lot of her feathers. (It's just the start of spring here in Aus)
She lost all of her tail feathers except one. That one feather was broken and the end of it waves about in the breeze like a little flag.
I have taken to calling her Phoenix Flippy Tail. She does look quite silly. Thankfully her feathers are growing back again.

Oh, that is a funny tail...... lol! She looks horrified that ya took the photo. She's just like "pleeze don't put it on the internet." LOL.
