My only advice is just let the chick grow it out...
I have a chick who has a similar problem, and she is perfectly fine.

Where did they come from? Maybe Saipan with those combs and upright stance.

I am trying to determine if this chocolate orpington bantam is a rooster or not? Any guesses? He/she is 7 weeks old in this shot. He/she is a bit more aggressive than the other chicks I have right now so it's leading me to believe he may be a rooster?
