To me he just looks so happy and content eating his sweetpotatoes and corn, the look on his face says he thinks he has a good deal.

Awwwww... the Pudster is adorable! What a great kitty! Just makes you want to risk life and limb to rub that sweet tummy...

(Slight Hijack- Is Nugget really taller than a picnic table?! Have you ever measured his height? Nugget's a hoss!)

Yep he's taller than the picnic table! I don't know how tall he is now but close to a year ago he was 32 inches tall and not a year old yet. Now he's a bit over a year. He also weighed in at 23 pounds.

ETA: the 23 pounds was a month ago sorry, not last year!

I love to hear about how good cats are with the birds. Mine is a vicious killer, except with the chickens. I think he's terrified of them. Now, when they're babies, look out! LOL!

Pudster is a really pretty boy! Looks like he is really enjoying himself!

Thank you, he would be a saint if he was a human. There are a couple of roos that give him a really hard time and he never raises a paw to them. I'd knock the feathers of them if I were him. I'm always hollaring "You're a cat Puddy!!! Swat them!" and he just glares at them and walks away. The only time he's ever swatted one was when Nugget tried to take his taters!

I can't believe you have a cat that eats sweet potatoes and corn!!! I've had cats all my life and have yet to have one that would eat any veggies.

My current one is scared to death of the chickens. We all know how that happened.... She brings me presents, leaves them on the porch outside the door, usually mice....

Used to know a little dog that loved raw green beans, though.

They are such treasures. Can't figure out why everyone doesn't own animals.

Yeah, they all know he's a push over, they take his food if I don't stand there and watch him eat. He almost got beat up by Duchess last weekend, he was laying out in the sun and 2 of her babies decided to investigate him. Of course she figured he was a threat even though he was asleep and they were pecking at his tail like a giant worm! Poor kitty woke up to one heck of a flogging! Duchess looked over and saw her babies with the cat and turned into Dino-chicken-evil-kill the kitty-mommy chicken! I barely saved him lol.

You ought to see him eat rice and tofu!

He is way too cute!! My cats have never liked people food- even meats. Now the dog, on the other hand, loves green beans, carrots, broccoli, apples, and she is quie partial to peach yogurt.

Maybe my Puddy is a vegan kitty and that is why the chickies are safe! He really does prefer veggies and rice or taters over most meat cat foods, including tuna.
