I suppose I should add my Ozzie dog to this thread.

My Dog Ozzie, AKA Oswald, Ozzie-dog, Moose. ((We called him that when we first got him, because he was big and somewhat clumsy and would bump into people alllllll the time.

)) My daddy got him for free at a garage sale, after seeing an add for him somewhere. Where he found the ad, I don't know, as I was too young. He was a major part of my entire family's life, he always did what he was supposed to do and wasn't ever purposly aggresive. ((Yes yes, a few bits now and then, but that was when we were both very young.)) He was truly my daddy's dog, but I feel like both my dad and I had the closest connection with him.

He died of old age and arthritis in his hips. We all miss you Ozzie!

He was such a silly boy, always making faces for the camera, and he refused to go faster than a trot unless someone was sprinting alongside him.

I still remember one day two years ago, my friend was walking in front of us on the trail, and she'd picked a flower. She held it in her hand, just even with her shoulder, so that Jake spotted it. He stretched his neck out as far as it could go and grabbed the flower out of her hand and ate it... That was so hilarious. He'd never canter, not to mention gallop, unless she and my brothers sprinted as fast as they could alongside him. I've had the best moments of my life with this sweetheart, and my heart aches whenever I think of my buddy. </3 I'll always take colic seriously after my lovely Jake was destroyed by it. </3 RIP Jake. I'll always love you.

RIP my dear Sandi. She was an awesome friend. She was 5 1/2 yrs and lived a very pampered life as short as it was. She died of an ongoing case of mange that was a result of the poor condition that i found her in when she was a puppy. May she always be remembered.

I lost my King Tut a few weeks ago, he was a brown chinese gooses, very aggressive to everyone and everything else but very loving to me.

All the animals were in fear of Tut, I have seen him hang onto one of the goats when he got in the pen and tried to eat the feed.

I have seen the burro running across the pasture with Tut hanging on to her, she must have made him mad.

He was the leader of his small heard and when I put the first bunch of babies with him that I had hatched out he was their great protector.

Always coming across the correl to see me and talk to me, one day he was no where to be found and I finally find him in the chicken pen. Just laying there, no wounds or anything, I was so upset that it took me a couple of days to bury him. And I still miss his bossy ways.

R.I.P. Tut you will be remember forever.
