Even though I am a Texan(and unapologetically proud)-I have travelled the US pretty extensively and without exception, every state has it's own beauty(and drawbacks). Everyone should be as proud of their state as we are of Texas.

Oregon is known as "God's country." I hope "He" doesn't hear its considered boring to Texans. He might get ticked off and you know what can happen if that's the case....hope ya'll have a really big boat.
