Hey everyone! I have a very bad case of an adventurous chicken. My Easter Egger, Tani (about 9 months) has been escaping our chicken run either to our front yard or the woods behind our house. I thought about putting netting above our run, but I don't want her to get caught in the net. Tani likes to be alone, and she is not the lowest on the pecking order. Tani has such a sweet personality, she loves to cuddle a lot to. One wing has been clipped multiple times, but yet, that does still not stop her from flying to her hearts content. I don't want to lose this chicken to a hawk or worse. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do? I'm open to anything at this point.

Here is a picture of Tani:

Put the net up. She's unlikely to get caught in it, especially if you stretch it fairly tightly. What is the worst case scenario to you? Her getting caught in the net (highly unlikely), getting eaten while she is out, or a hawk flying into the uncovered run and eating your chickens?
