Hi all,
So, I was experimenting with a home made incubator because at the time I had fertile eggs but no broody. I started incubating the eggs and then my hen went broody about half way through their incubation! I figured the best chance they would get is if I give them to my broody, even though they will hatch sooner and so one has already hatched under her but the rest of her eggs are of course younger and need about another week. Should I remove this chick and raise her under a warm light or leave her with mom who should still sit for a while?
Thanks a bunch
