Yikes! My two chicken were squaking all afternoon as if an egg was being laid. I went to check on them and there are no eggs, but in the place where my white Americana chicken (who has uncharistically not laid for several days) is what looks to me like the insides of an egg, with a broken yolk. There is no shell. Can anyone tell me what this is???

Sounds like a shelless egg. Mine have done those (although never in the nest box), along with jello eggs (no shell, but a membrane), and tissue paper thin shelled eggs. Those were all when they first started laying. However, it can happen anytime as a glitch. If it happens a lot though, you may need to bump up their calcium intake...less scraps/treats, more layer feed and free choice oyster shell...

Look for the word "Uploads" near the top of the page. (if you can't find it hit control and the 'f' on the key board at the same time and type that word in, it will find it for you)

Click the browse button and find your picture, double click on the file to select.

Choose to resize your image and then using the drop down menu pick the size you'd like.

Should only take a few minutes depending on your connection speed. Good luck!
