Willow wondered why every time sge went away from the tribe to do something someone always came out of a bush.
Crimson wondered why they were sitting by so many bushes. It seemed unnecessary. I mean, there were hundreds of other miles of barren, vegetation free desert to sit in. Duh!
"Why do we always sit by bushes?" He accidentally said out loud. "And why do cat's like sitting in them?"

"Uh huh," Night grunted in agreement.
Oleander clenched her teeth. She didn't want for Cobra to die.
"Small question," said Nile in a snake-like tone, her voice had always had a snake-like resonance. "Won't the Tribe be unfit to fight? Won't they be thin, or scared?" Elytra wouldn't have been scared, she thought, her muscles contracting as she remembered her best friend's awful death. She would avenge her, she would.
Lion saw Nile tensing and leaned closer to her.
"True" mongoose said "but there hunger for freedom will cause them to fight like three cats." I hope.. Mongoose pushed away that awful night, when her cowed tribemates all watched Her few friends stand alone against cobra with hollow, hopeless eyes. Even meerkat.. but it couldn't be helped. She looked up. "even if the snapping river Tribe has forgotten their honor, they won't surely lift a claw against their liberators." She stood, the plan in her head stirring and shifting as she calculated. "We must train for battle at any rate, fight in pairs, and use our cunning from the desert to combat our lack of home turf.. unless we lure them out into the desert, they'll go mad before long.. if we get them lost.." she went on muttering to herself, forgetting the others were listening.

"Ok," said Dire.
Night turned to his sister, River, and gave her the glance that pleaded pair? Please?
Oleander thought about her own little kits fighting in a battle. She leaned instinctively closer to Nile, she had been a shy kit. But the desert had changed her. Instead she leaned against her brother, already knowing he would fight alongside her. But who would Oleander fight alongside... Cobra or her tribe.

River understood him, and gave a swift nod. She leaned toward him, feeling a sudden fear for her smaller brother. He had never been the best fighter, and Cobra was so ruthless... "Do you remember that move I showed you awhile back? The one where you run at your enemy then drop down, sliding under them, then grab their under-belly, flip them over, and rip at their stomach?"

A grey tabby tom instructed the cats into hidden spots behind trees and rocks. "Roll in the mud to hide your scents," he said. They did.

"Kit-s?" Crimson asked.
Thorn ran, and wondered if she'd get out of breath from this haunt.
~~~
"I'm going to help you," said Night.
Oleander wasn't sure she wanted Cobra to die. She still loved him. But her daughter seemed to loathe him. She must have gotten her hatefulness from Cobra himself. Lion wasn't sure where he stood.
(SnappingRiver)
Huckleberry rolled around in the mud. He had mixed feelings about this ambush. Cobra hadn't given them much of an explanation, and these cats hadn't done anything to them... yet.
(Thunderer)
Pebble shrugged. "One kit, two kits, whatever. Look, I was just curious."
Flame walked over to River and Night. "You really want to kill him?" he asked, his mew low. "Killing another cat is an experience that will stay with you forever."
Cobra stalked into the clearing, gave a nod to his warriors, and climbed to his rock. though he lounged carelessly, his muscles were clenched, his tail twitched, his eyes narrowed. I'll be rid of them soon. he told himself. ~~~ "now, the camp is in a dip, so we need scouts to keep an eye out for ambushes." Mongoose pointed a claw to her plans. "once were in, most of the tribe will fight on our side, but Cobra has his followers, who will be ready to fight." she looked at Oleander. "we must be ready for whatever happens."
"Hehe... yeah. Funny word... Kits," Willow said awkwardly. " 'Don't know how many there will be..." She looked to Pebble, "-Or when they're due.."
Crimson stared at her.( "She just needs some sleep, haha, don't know what she's talking about." is what he wanted to say) instead he didn't know what to say.
Pebble nodded. "Ah," she mewed, "So... a word of advice?" she stared at Willow, then at Crimson, with her sightless gray eyes. "Never make your kits think they are any less than they are. It doesn't end well." her tone was serious, and her eyes seemed to bore into them.
"Yes," said Night. "He has killed my Tribe before my eyes."
"My brother too," Nile chimed in. "My best friend also. My father is lost already. He cannot redeem himself. He isn't my father anymore! I don't even know my mother as much as I wish, she never saw me grow up. All I have left.... is Lion, he is the one cat I trust."
~~~
Crimson replied "If I had kits, I would make them feel worthy, like my mother did," unlike my father. This cat knew hate, but so did he.

River turned to him. "That monster killed our parents! Your daughter! Don`t you care about that?"
"Yes," replied the blue tabby tom

River glanced at Nile and Night. "It`s time we end his reign of terror!"

Night didn't know how to make an equally reveling speech. So he said "Yup."
Nile said "Yes!" Cause I am not feeling the creative. (Someone needs to take Lion from me, because I am not doing him justice:bow)
Oleander, however, was on Flame's side, though she disguised her words in a way that made her seem doubtful of their abilities, not of killing him. "You more than anyone know how dangerous he is. What makes you think you won't die? You'll get killed! And do you (she puts Lion on the spot) want to commit patricide?" He begins to feel uncomfortable.

"At least we would have tried! If we don`t stop him, he will just go on killing more and more cats! If we don`t, then who will?" River said evenly
