ok, I was haveing a terrible time with fly's....so I got a few of those sticky..long yellow thingies. So far they have been doing great. I have them hanging high enough that I dont get tangled in them, and the chickens can't reach them. So...I go out there this morning...and guess what was stuck to the fly trap?? A BAT!! The poor thing was all stuck to it...screeching terrible. So, I get my leather gloves...and take it outside by the chickens pool, and gently wet the trapped bat, and get it peeled off. It is now recouperating in the shop. Poor little thing. Good thing I had the gloves on...it didnt know I was trying to help, and was gnawing at the gloves! Im going to go check on it in a few...hope its ok. I love watching the bats in the evenings.
