Aaaak! Coop addition **PIX ADDED**

Great looking coop and great looking birds. If I was you I would install a fence-charger. Looks like your fence is only 4 ft tall. I would put 4 courses of hot wire around it. Only costs less than a dollar a year to operate one. I put a 5-mile charger around my pen, 4 courses of hot wire on a 6 ft fence set in concrete. Can't beat the peace of mind knowing coons cannot climb in.

Actually, it's 5 feet, which has been adequate until this year when my new pullets began flying over it. I have bought a fence charger, wire, and brackets for the chain link. Should I put it around the entire yard, top and bottom, or just around the coop wire? The chickens are shut in at night.

Second question: If it's around the entire yard, would two courses (top and bottom) be enough, or should I put four---I assume evenly spaced?

Appreciate the suggestions!

My 4 chickens love the sounds of construction, I call them my Construction Chickens. I just finished their 2x run addition, just have to upload some pics.

My wife won't let me spend anymore time and $$ on coop or run additions, not including the new roof before winter
