Well I thought today was lockdown day..... I was checking eggs one last time after adding a bit of water in the bator to up the humidity and I found two eggs that have pipped, are moving and I think I can hear peeping! Should I panic?

Eggs put in bator on 4/15 at 5pm so considering what counts as day 1, I may have been off on lockdown by a day. Is it too early? Will they die?

they are about 43 hours early

I wouldn't panic. It's better than not pipping at all, right? A hatched egg has got to be better than an unhatched egg.

They'll be fine. Just keep that humidity up now and find something to keep you busy

Monday was day 18...same for me. I put mine in about 12:00 noon on the 15th. 21 days would be this Thursday. I have one cheeping too!!

Yes! I hear peeping from all the across the room! OMG! I am sooooo excited! I hope they are okay and not too early!

3 died after pipping and I have 3 more that I can see the little tip of the beak thru the hole in the egg (thru the window of the bator) that are peeping and moving but they aren't out yet.

Sorry about the three that didn't make it. Crossing fingers for the rest.

How do you know they died after pipping? Just wondering. It can take 24 hours from pip to hatch. Maybe there is still hope?
