Aaargh! *gasp Gasp**

I suppose this thread isn't going to get many replies, but does anyone know how to make a decent cup of instant coffee?!? Since there is only me in the house I have been drinking instant. The first cup tasted like water, the second cup looked too gross to sip & the third day my attempt almost blew me out of the window. I never seem to get it right.

You might consider a "French Press" coffee maker. It is basically a glass (sometimes metal) container with a strainer. All you do is pour in about 3 tbls of your choice of ground coffee into the container,heat up 3 cups of water, pour the water into the container, wait a minute then strain it.
Ta Da! You have a fast, easy cup of coffee

French Press: Available at most kitchen stores or departments. You shouldn't have any trouble finding one in Oregon.

Recommend coarse ground coffee, boiling water, steep 4 minutes and then press. You'll have to fiddle with the amount of ground coffee you put in.

I agree with the french press idea. Super easy. I got mine for $10 on Amazon.
