Mine didn't do anything until the night of the 21st day. It was my first hatch though, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

That's good to know. The more time passes without so much as a peep, the more I worry that I won't get any chicks. Tomorrow is day 21, so hopefully I will start to see some action!

A pip!!! The egg that I had marked on my chart as the first one I thought would hatch has pipped! Hurray!!!
Edited at 6:20pm:She zipped all the way around the egg in less than 10 minutes and is now sitting with her head hanging down on the side of the carton taking a rest. I sure hope she won't hang there for too long... it makes her look dead!
Edited at 7:20pm:We have a chick! She got herself out of the shell and carton about 30-40 mins after we noticed that she had pipped. She is now resting off in a corner where I can't get any pictures. Hurray!
*Now she just needs some friends... come on eggs!

Got up early this morning and came out to see that one more has pipped, and another one is zipping! My humidity had dropped to 55 though so I hope that won't affect them too badly. I have it coming back up a bit now. The one that is zipping is making progress and I will be keeping a close eye on the one that has pipped. Hopefully more will join them soon as there were 21 eggs in there at the start of lockdown.

I know that feeling! When we had goats, I heard them everywhere! Even after we sold them, I would still hear them, lol.
