I just moved my 10 Serama chicks to a nice big room (roughly 6'x6'). They do fine for several minutes but then a few start peeping really loud. I'll go see what's up and they stop and start to move out from their huddle, lol. If I go in there they'll all come to me and stand near me.

Before, they were in a large tote that was about 2ft long and 1ft wide and it was in the living room. Where they're at now is a bit out of the way but they can still hear us.

Sounds like you are their mommy. And they want their mommy in that big scary place! :D

Yup ^_^ I'm really glad it's like that. I was afraid they were still too skittish. I incubated them and was there for all but 3 or 4 hatching. I'm working to get them very okay with being handled as I'd like to try my hand at competition someday or have my son join 4H and do that.

One of the boy chicks is already to thr point whete if you put your hand in there he will come up and jump on. He's a sweet one ^_^ Will most likely keep him. I'll keep all 3 if that's all I have and they don't annoy my neighbors. I'd hate to get rid of any, but I thinl these 3 are just early bloomers and so I still have to wait and see. They started showing red on combs before hitting 2 weeks. Ine is most definitely male as he suddenly has an even redder comb than yesterday and when I put them in the new room he was challenging everyone else lol. He might be too aggressive to keep, but time will tell.

Right now they've finally gotten used to it and have eaten and settled down under the heat lamp. They're just so tiny!! XD

Aaahh!!! Just needed to post this somewhere lol. My sister's boss just sent me a link to a facebook marketplace listing for a small coop/run for super cheap. Messaged the guy and it's still available and is a decent size for my babies even when they're bigger (except of course for if I keep more than one male, I'll get those their own space).

It has been a pain in the butt to get anything done about the coop and run and I was worrying I'd not get it done if mess kept happening. Hopefully I'll have a super cute coop by the end of the week!!!
