They look to be around 6-8 weeks old. A calico and a blue mottled cochin bantam, both cockerels.
Good for you for rescuing them!

Maybe. With the amount of white on him, I'm more likely to guess calico (which is often just Mille fluer with a lot more white.) I'd wait for him to completely feather out before making any definite calls. Thanks for the info. I was thinking the other was Mille Fleur?
Last year I found a cockerel in a parking lot and after a month of quarantine integrated him into my rooster-only flock. He's now one of my friendliest chickens; he follows me around and likes to be stroked like a cat.I was hoping to keep them, it all depends on whether they get in with my other chickens. If not I know someone else who’ll have them.

Whoever has dumped these beautiful birds, thinking they might be cockerels,
is a poor excuse for a human being. I hope no good will come to them, sorry.
All they needed to do was come on here, and find them good homes, or place an ad
near to where they live. It really annoys me, can you imagine if you had not found
them, and took them home. What chance would they have especially at night time.
What is wrong with some people. Grrrrr So glad you found them, and took them in.
Only good things will come to you, be proud of yourself, they are beautiful. Even if they
are cockerels, it not their fault bless them. Thank you for helping them, you deserve a medal in my eyes.![]()
