Abandoned baby chicken. Please help

You did a great job trying to save the little guy you know if you just left him in the nest he'd be dead a few days ago.

I haven't read this whole thread yet but my suggestion if the chick is still alive is to give it something like Pedialyte or Gatorade. You can make a mash with crumbles and feed it to the chick a little at a time. I use a pair of tweezers. If you can get it to drink some of the Pedialyte or Gatorade that may help too or as I mentioned mix it with some chick crumbles to make a mash. DE is worthless. You need something with permethrin in it like poultry dust or some garden dusts. Also baby liquid vitamins will work WITHOUT IRON. Good luck...
