Yesterday we found this little baby in amongst our chickens and peacock.
We don’t have a clue how it got there, all we can think is someone had seen it alone and put it through our fence.
It was very lively yesterday and we fed it with some hand feed and water.
This morning we thought it was dead. It’s been very lethargic this morning and couldn’t hold its head up.
we think it’s very young…we have given it electrolytes and tried feeding a little, it’s eaten a bit itself, too. It’s sleeping a lot, especially under the heat lamp I went and bought. It lies almost flat, like it’s dead? It loves being next to me or on me and squeals and cries when I put it back in it’s box. I’m worried as it’s poops are very liquid (I have been syringing water and electrolytes in to it’s mouth today)
I don’t know what more I can do?
It seems less lethargic this afternoon but still likes to sleep, but is walking around more now.
@casportpony any ideas? Or am I doing the right thing?

it weighs 50g
I will go and ask now
Yes you taught me how with my, Blue but I think the tube I used for him may be too big. I had to use a catheter as I couldn’t a proper one

I can get one called ‘Tabernil Sulfa’ is sulfaquinoxaline and Pyrimethamine

50 grams, that's not good. I think you need to find a way to get fluids into it. Once you get is hydrated, then you will need to get some food into it. Most peachicks hatch weighing 60-70 grams, so you chick is way behind.
